The black tie Empire Ball will once again be held at The Grand Hyatt on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. At the Ball, the Real Estate Division of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation will pay homage to three of its esteemed members. The 2014 Leadership award will be presented to L. Jay Cross, president, Hudson Yards, a Related Oxford venture. Stephen Soviero, senior managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., will receive the Camillo Ricordi Humanitarian award. Frederick Horwood, assistant general counsel of Time Warner Inc., will be honored with the Distinguished Service award.
