10-21-2013: Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS holds annual Member Appreciation Day on October 21st at DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown

The Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® (HGAR) will converge at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown for its annual Member Appreciation Day on Monday, October 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event is expected to draw at least 1,000 Realtors from Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Orange Counties. Jan Hargrave, a national speaker, author, educator and talk-show guest will serve as the keynote speaker and reveal all of the "hidden messages" in body language. She has been a guest on The Lifetime Channel, Fox News, The Maury Povich Show, The Montel Williams Show, E-Entertainment Television and more. Over the past 10 years, she has conducted seminars and workshops for many of today's leading corporations, as well as Honolulu Police Department, the Louisiana Attorney General's Office and various legal Bench and Bar Associations across the country. In addition, HGAR will offer classes and workshops for its members, including a class on the new Advertising Guidelines, which will go into effect on January 2, 2014. Members have the option of taking the class for free, with no CE credit, or paying $25 for 3 CE credits. Other free classes will include "Cloud Computing," "Business Structure and Taxes," "The Mobile Explosion," and a special presentation about the benefits of being an HGAR member. Members Day will also include a trade show with more than 75 vendors, an Annual Meeting, and a Celebration Cocktail party to acknowledge the HGAR REALTOR®of the year and HGAR Affiliate Member of the Year, along with other awards. "Last year's event was one of our most successful with more than 1,000 agents attending, and this year we're expecting even more," said Richard Haggerty, HGAR CEO.
