10-08-2015 - Brookhaven Business Advisory Council to host 11th Annual "Building Business in Brookhaven Expo"

On October 8, the Town of Brookhaven Division of Economic Development's Brookhaven Business Advisory Council (BBAC) will host its 11th Annual "Building Business in Brookhaven Expo" from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at town hall. The event, which attracted over 600 local business people and 114 vendors last year, will focus on business networking and includes a trade show with booths highlighting local, regional and national companies that service businesses in Brookhaven Town. The expo is presented by the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council in partnership with the Town of Brookhaven, Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency and the Brookhaven Chambers of Commerce Coalition (BCCC). Admission to the expo is free and complimentary food will be available from Brookhaven Town businesses. Vendor tables, booth space, food exhibition and sponsorships are still available for the 2015 Building Business in Brookhaven Expo. The council is comprised of business owners and professionals who serve on a volunteer basis. The council's key function is to assist Town government by disseminating information to and from the business communities. They also help to compile information on business in Brookhaven Town, and develop and implement public information programs to educate the business community regarding outreach programs and assistance available to them.
