According to Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C., as part of its firm wide Corporate Responsibility Initiative, they will be holding a fundraising event on behalf of the Sunrise Association.
The Sunrise Association's mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings world-wide through the creation of Sunrise Day Camps, In-Hospital Recreational Activities and other year round programs, all offered free of charge.
On June 14th, the firm team, Gettry Marcus SunRisers, will be participating in the 10th Annual SunriseWALKS at their Wheatley Heights campgrounds. According to Steven Marcus, managing partner, the firm's goal is to raise $25,000.
To achieve the firm's fundraising goal, they will be hosting a Wine Tasting Event at their corporate offices. Gettry Marcus has opened up this Corporate Responsibility Initiative to their entire community of friends, family, clients and referral sources. Additionally, Gettry Marcus has reached out to TGS-Global, its international network of accounting firms, for support.
