05-19-2014 - CREW to host Opening Breakfast at ICSC's RECon

In the renewal of the strong relationship between two commercial real estate organizations, Commercial Real Estate Women's Network (CREW) will host the Opening Breakfast at the International Council of Shopping Centers' RECon conference in Las Vegas, on Monday, May 19th, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in Room N4 at the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. CREW and ICSC leaders will join keynote speaker Jean Chatzky, Today Show Financial Editor and best-selling author, at the breakfast, which is open to all full registrants of RECon, the largest gathering of retail real estate professionals in the world. "We're delighted to see the Breakfast return to the schedule after a brief hiatus. CREW and ICSC share many members, and have collaborated on a number of initiatives both at our meetings and theirs," said Gail Ayers, CREW CEO. "CREW's goal is to provide our members with information and contacts that will help them succeed, and this event will do both." RECon will be held Sunday May 18th through Tuesday, May 20th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, a day shorter than in recent years, adds CREW Director Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman of Douglas Elliman Real Estate's Retail Group, and a past member of RECon's planning committee. "Despite an abbreviated schedule, I can attest that ICSC's commitment to advancing women in the industry has not wavered," said Consolo, who chairs a women's educational group program for ICSC. "CREW hosting this breakfast is the perfect way for our organizations to work together for the betterment not just of women in our industry, but all retail real estate professionals." Attendance at the breakfast is complimentary, but open only to RECon registrants. For more information, visit: http://www.icsc.org/2014RECON/
