02-07-2013 - NYSCAR WNY chapter to hold 12th annual awards dinner

The Western New York Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR) will hold its 12th Annual Awards Dinner and installation of officers' ceremony on Thursday evening, February 7 at the Acqua Restaurant, (formerly, Harry's), located at 2192 Niagara St. with an open bar @ 5:30 p.m. and dinner @ 7:00 p.m. sharp. The swearing-in ceremony of new officers will be followed by the presentation of several awards. Awards will be given for Lifetime Achievement, Meritorious Service and the Largest Broker Assisted Lease and Sale Transactions of 2012. The 2012 recipient for the Lifetime Achievement Award will be Dennis Greco of Greco Real Estate. This year's Meritorious Service Award recipient will be Robert Shibley, Dean of the UB School of Architecture & Planning. A special recognition award is to be given to Buffalo News writers, Jon Epstein and Matt Glynn.
