Manhattan, NY On behalf of a private investment group led by David Berley, the chairman of Walter & Samuels Inc., Meridian Capital Group has arranged $60.4 million in financing for a commercial property located at 80-88 West End Ave. This is a highly structured loan with various pieces of debt and equity. Constructed in 1921, 80-88 West End Ave. is a pre-war building that contains seven stories and has 250,000 s/f of rentable office space leased to credit tenants. Abe Hirsch and Zev Karpel of Meridian's New York office negotiated on behalf of the borrowers, working with Peter Weiss, director of acquisitions at Walter & Samuels.
