Wachs joins Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP

According to the law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP with offices on Long Island and Manhattan, Karen Wachs has joined the firm of counsel in its commercial litigation and bankruptcy practice groups. Wachs will reside in the firm's Manhattan office. "We are delighted to welcome Karen to the firm," said managing partner, Marc Hamroff. "Her reputation and experience is a valuable asset to the firm and my partners and I look forward to working with Karen as we continue to expand our practice in Manhattan and New Jersey." Prior to joining the firm, Wachs was a partner at the New Jersey law firm of Berman, Sauter, Record and Jardim, P.C. where she concentrated her practice in commercial litigation, construction litigation, commercial law and corporate law. Wachs earned her J.D. from George Washington University, National Law Center. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and before the United States District Court of New Jersey. In addition to her practice, Wachs serves as counsel to the grants committee of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer North Jersey Affiliate. She is also a member of the Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Women (ICREW New Jersey), the Union County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.
