Manhattan, NY The Daten Group’s David Ennis and Craig Rosenman, along with Tracy Dembicer from First Niagra Bank, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony this week for the Daten Group’s new rental building at 840 Fulton St. at the corner of Vanderbilt Ave. in Clinton Hill. The 39-unit mixed rental building replaced a gas station at the corner.

The Daten Group purchased the site of a Clinton Hill gas station two years ago for $7.4 million, and plans to construct a $20 million, seven-story 40,000 s/f rental building (with 20 percent designated affordable units) designed by KBA Architects. The building will also feature almost 5,000 s/f of ground floor retail space.

The project has qualified for the 421A program and is set to deliver 20% affordable units in 18 months.

The Daten Group is a full-service real estate investment, development and consulting firm.

Since its inception in 2001, Daten has focused on the acquisition and development of commercial, industrial and residential projects throughout the New York metropolitan area.
