What is driving the growth of your business in 2016?

At RM Friedland, we are growing our business in a few different ways. We are hiring more brokers for our existing service lines, retail, office and industrial, and are focusing on working with each of our brokers to grow their own book of business. In addition, we are exploring the expansion of our business into new areas such as multifamily brokerage.

If you could create an ideal App for your industry what would it do?

The ideal app would be a highly detailed time management app that was tailored specifically towards the commercial real estate broker. Being on commission, all a broker really has is his/her own time. The more productive he/she is, the more money that person can make. I think that a lot of brokers struggle with truly making the most out of every minute of their working day. A time management app that helped you prioritize things by importance/dollars earned etc. would be very useful.

Sarah Jones-Maturo is the president of RM Friedland.
