Spateri joins Advantage Group as business development and mortgage specialist

According to Advantage Group president and chief executive Joseph Willen, Paul Spateri, an experienced mortgage industry executive, has joined the firm as a business development and mortgage specialist. Previously regional manager at South Fork Funding Inc., a mortgage brokerage firm, Spateri began his mortgage career 15 years ago as a mortgage originator with Long Island Mortgage Resources. He later became a regional sales manager for Long Island and New York City at PHH Mortgage/Coldwell Banker Home Loans, which in 2004 acquired Long Island Mortgage Resources. While at PHH Mortgage/Coldwell Banker, Spateri was the agency's top producing mortgage originator for four consecutive years and was named to Broker Magazine's list of Top 100 Mortgage Brokers in the United States, ranked at No. 32. He was also listed in Long Island Business News' "Who's Who Among Top Players in Mortgage Lending." "Paul Spateri's expertise is helping clients achieve both their residential and commercial purchase goals. His addition to Mortgage Advantage will raise the bar for us," said Willen. "As we expand, we look forward to being able to provide our top level of personalized service to more clients." Spateri is an alumnus of CUNY New York Technical College.
