Skelos joins Liberty Title Agency as account exec.

According to Liberty Title Agency, LLC, Adam Skelos, of Rockville Centre, N.Y., has joined the company as an account executive. "Adam is a proven self-starter with creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities," said Brian Madden, Liberty's president and co-founder.  "His varied skills make Adam a welcome addition to the company." Prior to joining Liberty Title Agency, Skelos was a manager and event coordinator at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park. He worked on appraisals that were done for the Nassau County Tax Assessments in 2003 at the offices of Smith and Salerno in Mineola. He also was an executive assistant with Davidoff, Malito & Hutcher LLP in Garden City, where he honed his skills in the areas of contract negotiation and renewal.  Skelos additionally pursued strategic internship positions while attending college.  As an intern for LIPA, he developed a comprehensive training brochure for new employees on the utilities' infrastructure.  He also interned in the New York Regional Affairs Office for Governor George Pataki.  As an assistant to the Governor's Nassau County regional director, Skelos coordinated the submission of local news information to the Governor's Office of Regional Affairs; assisted in constituent case work, administrative tasks, database management, telephone outreach; and attended key regional events with the Governor's regional director. Skelos is a member of the Long Island Builder's Institute (LIBI), the New York Senate Young Republican Club, the Nassau County Republican Club, and the Hellenic American Banker's Association (HAVA).  He has participated in training and coordinating events for Special Olympics and volunteers on various local political campaigns.  He received a BA in Interdisciplinary Sciences from Hofstra University in 2007.
