What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? Currently, I'm senior director of the capital markets and investments department for Colliers International's Long Island office. Future plans include ownership and equity in large-scale corporate real estate investment and development projects on a national and international scale. How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? My go-to release from the day is typically some sort of physical activity. Usually lifting at the gym, playing ice hockey or going for a bike ride. Although, grabbing a drink with friends every now and then doesn't hurt either. Favorite book or author: Tie between "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell and "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet. Favorite movie: "Meet Joe Black" Last song you purchased/downloaded? "The Eye" by Brandi Carlyle One word to describe your work environment: Fluid. Rules to live by in business: Make the commitment, stand by your word, and never stop educating or finding ways to differentiate yourself from your competition. Time management means working smarter AND harder. If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead, but not related to you) who would it be and where would you go? Teddy Roosevelt - My grandmother's house for a family dinner. What is your DREAM job? I always wanted to be an archeologist when I was young... digging up dinosaurs and ancient civilizations just seemed fun to me.
