Acampora keynote speaker at monthly luncheon

Ralph Acampora, CMT was the keynote speaker at the monthly luncheon of the Greater New York Chapter of IREM. His talk, "2010: A Year of Reform & Recovery" drew a standing room only crowd. Acampora has been a technical analyst for over 45 years. Prudential Securities, Smith Barney and Knight Capital are among the firms he's worked for.
Acampora was a co-founder of the Market Technicians Association; he started the first library on technical analysis and has been an instructor on this subject since 1970 at the New York Institute of Finance. He often appears on popular business TV shows such as CNBC, FOX Business and Bloomberg radio. In 2008 he started a new firm called Altaira Wealth Management S.A. with several other partners - together they have established a unique fund structure that uses technical analysis to invest in Global Exchange Traded Funds.
