Ornamental Metal Institute of N.Y. holds workshop on steel uses

The Ornamental Institute of New York held a workshop, Designing and Specifying Stainless Steel, a special one-day program providing practical knowledge on successful planning, specifying and executing designs in stainless steel. The workshop took place on November 14, 2007 at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Pl., and was held in cooperation with the Nickel Institute and the International Moybdenum Association (IMOA). The program offered valuable training for architects, structural engineers, fabricators, erectors and building owners. Catherine Houska, international architectural metal expert, who is a consultant for the Nickel Institute, IMOA, conducted the workshop.
