David Herold, a partner in the real estate and commercial lending groups at Certilman Balin, has been named to the board of directors of Long Island Cares, Inc. - The Harry Chapin Food Bank.
Herold represents institutional lenders in financing multifamily and commercial properties and documenting credit facilities for middle market and small business borrowers. He has experience in a variety of lending transactions including fee and leasehold financing, mezzanine financing, and asset based and receivable financing. In addition to his lending practice, Herold acts as counsel to banks fielding issues in general banking and cash management matters, including negotiation of Inter-creditor, Lockbox and other Tri-Party Agreements.
He earned his bachelor of science in Finance from Boston College in 1991, his juris doctor from St. John's University School of Law in 1996.
