Suzanne Sunshine is the president at S.Sunshine & Associates. Sunshine leads S.Sunshine & Associates, a boutique firm that provides commercial and residential real estate brokerage and consulting services to nonprofit organizations and their staff, volunteers, and board members. S. Sunshine & Associates donates a percentage of its fees back to each nonprofit client. Some of my career achievements are: * Completed more than 300,000 s/f of real estate transactions on behalf of nonprofit clients. * Led nonprofit practice groups for two of the industry's largest commercial real estate services firms, CB Richard Ellis and Cushman & Wakefield. * Through Equitable Real Estate and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, helped raise $125 million in support of inner-city neighborhoods. What makes you an innovator? As part of my business model, I donate a portion of my fees back to each nonprofit client as a charitable donation, something I simply could not do when I worked for larger corporations. My ultimate mission is to assist the nonprofit sector overall, one nonprofit at a time. As a real estate broker, and a compassionate citizen, my goals are to help each nonprofit maximize on its real estate, which, in turn, helps it operate more efficiently, ultimately trickling down to the New Yorkers it serves. When I started S. Sunshine & Associates, it wasn't just to represent nonprofits as a real estate broker. Nonprofits are not just clients I represent; they are my people.
