By Liz Arauz Chang, IFMAThe weather was perfect on August 31 and Leewood Country Club located in Eastchester, did a terrific job in organizing and assisting the golf committee with caddies, golf carts, locker room facilities, brunch, cocktail hour, dinner and beverages noted Robert Anders from Chelsea Floor Covering. Anders added that the golf outing was well attended with some fresh faces as well as many repeat sponsors and foursomes. Moreover, it was a great comrade building event where it provided the attendees with an opportunity to meet people, and discover that we have a lot of people in common according to Ross Cole from Bam Studio. The first place golfers were: Michael Conslato from Consolidated Carpet, Dan Sock from Mohawk Carpet, Jennifer Murphy from Plaza Construction and Chris Mee from Proskauer Rose LLP. Frank Morano said that once again he thought the IFMA organization, with special kudos to the golf committee, put together a fabulous event and had a great turn-out given the economic conditions.
