Newmark Knight Frank wins McAfee, Inc. job

Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) Global Corporate Services (GCS) has been retained by McAfee, Inc. to provide a comprehensive management program of real estate services, according to GCS chairman Michael Ippolito. The assignment encompasses two million s/f for McAfee, Inc.
"Newmark Knight Frank recently restructured its Global Corporate Services business into a fully integrated global platform that provides seamless beginning-to-end corporate services solutions on a worldwide basis," said Ippolito. "Our new methodology has been well received by major corporations such as McAfee, Inc., which sought a single service source for its global real estate portfolio."

"As part of this assignment, we will be conducting a global site search for McAfee," said Newmark Knight Frank managing principal Seth Weinstein, who is heading the account. "The company is planning to hire another 1,200 people across several different business units, but predominantly sales and engineers. We will be siting the next global frontier for McAfee as it seeks to become the provider of choice in each new market."
"McAfee will be able to take advantage of our fully integrated approach, where we will be looking at its global footprint and advising the company on the optimal use of its corporate real estate," said Ippolito. "As part of our integrated approach, we will focus not only on the company's real estate but also the company's total spend."
Prior to the McAfee, Inc. assignment, Newmark Knight Frank GCS recently assumed management of the portfolio of Avaya, encompassing nearly eight million s/f at 277 locations worldwide.
