JLL completes 114,300 s/f lease renewal for General Motors at 767 Fifth Ave.

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has completed a 114,300 s/f renewal for General Motors Co. at 767 Fifth Ave. The automobile manufacturer signed a 10-year lease renewal at the 2 million s/f office building.
The tenant was represented by Peter Riguardi, president of JLL's New York office, along with Michael Shenot, managing director, and Lloyd Desatnick, senior VP, both with the company's New York office. Building owner Boston Properties was represented in-house by Robert Selsam and Andrew Levin.
"General Motors has been a tenant at 767 Fifth Ave. for a number of decades," said Riguardi. "The building is one of the premier trophy buildings in Manhattan, and it is owned and operated by a top-notch landlord with which the automobile manufacturer has developed a comfortable relationship."
General Motors will occupy the 14th floor through the 16th floor at the class A office building, which is located on Fifth Ave. between East 58th St. and East 59th St. The automobile manufacturer has leased space at 767 Fifth Ave. since the property was constructed in 1968.
JLL provides corporate real estate services to General Motors on a national basis through its global platform of integrated services.
