B.R. Fries & Associates completes work on 25,000 s/f project

B.R. Fries & Associates, LLC, a New York-based, 30 year old general contracting and construction management firm, has completed the gut renovation and facade replacement of, as well as an addition to, the Jewish Braille Institute's double brownstone building at 110 East 30th St.
The 25,000 s/f project included a new recording center, community conference and seminar room, volunteer training and quality control center, an outreach and public education resource center, management information systems, an archival center and new MEP systems, elevators and lighting. The outdated facade of the brownstone also underwent a complete facade replacement.
This is the second educational facility project for B.R. Fries & Associates, which has vast experience in both retail and corporate interiors projects.
The architect for the $5 million project was Fink & Platt Architects. Project manager was Freeman Frazier & Associates.
