NGL was organized as Ebin, Newman & Greenfield in 1966 when Sidney Newman and Martin Greenfield purchased Elias H. Ebin's insurance business. In 1972, Donald S. List became a partner, and the firm was renamed Newman, Greenfield & List (NGL). Jeffrey Greenfield became a partner in 1980. Sidney Newman and Don List are now retired but continue to serve as consultants. Ken Hehir became a member of the firm in 1995 when NGL Group L.L.C. was formed. On December 6, 2006, NGL Group celebrated its 40th anniversary and the building was dedicated to Martin Greenfield, the founding father for his years of leadership, devotion and insight. NGL's management team combines more than 200 years of insurance and financial experience and provides leadership and training to our staff. NGL continues to grow, due largely to customer referrals and agency mergers.
