Mavrophilipos of H2M elected NACE chairman

According to H2M, a multi-disciplined engineering and architecture firm, Markos Mavrophilipos, senior coatings inspector has been elected Metropolitan New York Section chairman of NACE International (National Association of Coating Engineers).
NACE International is the leader in the corrosion engineering and science community, and is recognized around the world as the premier authority for corrosion control solutions. The New York Metropolitan section covers a significant area known for its many monumental and important structures; constantly under attack from the elements of corrosion. As section chair Mavrophilipos is responsible for promoting the science and understanding of corrosion and supervising and coordinating all NACE affairs in the area. As well as serving as executive officer for the area. As chairman Mavrophilipos hopes to promote activities and programs used by the Metropolitan section of NACE to broaden membership, assist in career development, and recognize members who have contributed and served in the corrosion control industry.
