Solomon of ABS Partners arranges 10-year, 7,200 s/f combination sublease and direct lease

Joint Council 1217, part of the United Service Workers Union, has signed a combined 10-year lease at City View Plaza, 36-36 33rd St, Long Island City.
Joint Council 1217 has experienced tremendous growth over the last several years and is the home of Locals: 74, 1031 and 811; together representing workers in numerous industries throughout the country.
The 7,200 s/f, glass office space had been occupied by ScharffıWeisberg, an entertainment technology company relocating to Secaucus, N.J. The 10-year deal is a combination of a three-year sublease from the existing tenant, ScharffıWeisberg, followed by a seven-year direct lease with the building's owner, City View Plaza, LLC.
