Despite today's difficult market conditions, one of Long Island's leading commercial real estate brokers has formed a new company. Jack Jawdat, formerly with Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate (Medford, N.Y.) is now President of New York Commercial Real Estate, Ltd. The firm is providing comprehensive commercial real estate services ranging from office, industrial, retail and investment property sales and leasing to land development, build-to-suit, and property management services.
According to Jawdat, who previously has earned his industry's top sales honors including consecutive President's Circle, Leading Edge Society, Chairman's Circle Gold and Platinum awards, "While the current economy is challenging, it also presents a greater need for "Best in Class" real estate marketing strategies and the application of sound economic principles which is exactly what we are providing at New York Commercial Real Estate. Today, more than ever, having an experienced and qualified broker is critical."
During the course of his extensive career, Jawdat has always emphasized a very personal level of service; one reason his clients have remained loyal to him through various market cycles. His professionalism and integrity have earned him a steady stream of referrals and a client base which includes many sophisticated investors, property owners, businesses, medical groups and national tenants. His strong relationships with numerous municipalities across the region are another reason he has been able to facilitate many high profile transactions.
Jawdat's value-added services have also been instrumental in his growing client base.
"Supporting clients on appraisals, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, relocations and construction projects and in other matters pertaining to their real estate needs can be time consuming," said Jawdat. "However, for me it's always been more about relationships than transactions. I know that be being proactive, providing valuable information, sharing insights and helping clients whenever they need the assistance, goes a long way to building long-lasting relationships."
Jawdat is an active member of the real estate industry and local business community. Among his professional affiliations is his role as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce, as well as involvement with the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Jawdat's team currently consists of two additional real estate consultants and an administrative coordinator. His business plan is to expand his team through a sophisticated broker development and mentoring program.
