200 commercial real estate, architecture, and finance professionals attended the 2nd Stalco Real Estate Movers & Shakers Networking Reception. The quarterly networking event, open exclusively to principals and senior executives of Long Island's leading real estate and design firms, serves as the region's venue for exchanging ideas and networking among the building industry's heavy hitters. During the event, Building Long Island magazine unveiled its latest issue that features a cover story on Stalco Construction. The reception's on-line media sponsor was UPworld.com, an on-line network for real estate, design and building professionals. Held at Stalco Construction, Inc.'s headquarters, the latest Movers & Shakers Networking Reception was themed "Support Local Wineries and Farms" and featured wine classes, tastings, and locally grown and produced artisanal foods. "We welcome Long Island's and the Greater New York area's real estate and architecture professionals to the second Stalco Movers & Shakers Networking Reception," said Stalco Construction principal Kevin Harney. The reception featured locally sourced foods catered by Harbor Crab Company restaurant in Patchogue, N.Y., and a selection of Long Island and imported cheeses provided by Village Cheese Shop in Mattituck, N.Y. Osprey's Dominion Vineyards from North Fork, N.Y. and Martha Clara Vineyards, located in Arrowhead, N.Y. supplied a selection of locally produced wines and provided wine classes and tasting opportunities.
