First job in real estate or allied field: Salesperson for Norman Bobrow & Co. before founding own real estate firm, Nichols-Kane Realty. Then co-founded Butler Kane Commercial Real Estate prior to becoming a franchisee of Sperry Van Ness. What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? Currently run a commercial real estate company responsive to the smaller real estate investor. Keys to success: Surround yourself with good people and take joy in living. If you had to choose another vocation what would it be? I am ready to create a real estate investment fund geared to the smaller investor who never thought they had a shot at owning property or earning profits in real estate investing.
