GreenbergFarrow, an architectural, engineering, planning and development consulting firm with a large, national retail portfolio, has delivered a 1,600 s/f boutique store in Manhattan's SoHo district for Comptoir des Cotonniers.
Located at 155 Spring St. between West Broadway and Wooster St., the outlet is the first American venue for the international "mother-daughter" casual clothing retailer.
Comptoir des Cotonniers is one in a series of projects GreenbergFarrow has been undertaking for international retailers.
"When overseas retailers first come to America, they know they can count upon GreenbergFarrow to bring forth a finished product that will fulfill their vision while maximizing return on investment," said Navid Maqami, AIA, architecture principal with GreenbergFarrow.
Comptoir des Cotonniers, which operates 340 stores worldwide, originated in France in 1995 and is owned by Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. of Japan. Fast Retailing also owns fashion retailer Uniqlo.
GreenbergFarrow also recently completed another SoHo project that is the first American outlet for a prominent European retailer.
