The Long Island Development Corp (LIDC) financed over 14,740 s/f of commercial real estate as part of total funding for qualified Small Business projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Ken Kowalczyk VP lending financed My Spectrum School, a child care facility targeting full/part-time working parents who value quality education for gifted pre-school and other school age children. They received a $417,000 SBA 504 loan as part of a $1.15 million financing package. The project will create 10 new jobs. Their location is 11 Sintsink Dr. East, Port Washington.
Kowalczyk also financed Ideal Bottle Gas Inc., a retailer of liquefied petroleum gas. The company purchased land to construct a 5,000 s/f building in order to expand their home business and to accommodate a larger work force. In addition, the new location will allow them to store heavy-duty equipment and propane tanks. They received a $499,000 SBA 504 loan as part of a $1,203,465 financing package. The new location is at 9 Pinehurst Dr., Bellport. The project will create 12 new job opportunities.
