WK-Equities hosts open house barbecue for real estate brokers
June 19, 2009 - Long Island
Wachtler Knopf Equities, LLC played host to over 75 commercial real estate brokers from various Long Island firms at an open house barbecue on May 13. The festivities took place at WK-Equities' mixed-use property located at 45 South Service Rd. The open house barbecue was held with the hope of combining good food, a beautiful day, and an opportunity for WK-Equities to show Long Island's commercial brokers space available for lease at this prime location. Leasing agents from Corporate National Realty, LLC were onsite to provide personally guided tours of the available space.
Converse to other buttoned up catered corporate events, WK-Equities' principal Philip Wachtler and director of management Sandy Cohen donned aprons, rolled up their sleeves and got to work flipping burgers, hot sdogs, and grilled salami. Wachtler said, "I am very impressed but not surprised with the turnout for this event; if the opportunity to tour this great property location was not lure enough, my cooking abilities surely reeled them in!" Never leaving his post, Wachtler dutifully kept the grill fired up until everyone in attendance received a fully guided tour of the building and their full share of grilled cuisine. Personal efforts like their latest barbecue exemplify WK-Equities' personal attention to detail and reputation of being a truly hands-on management firm.
