According to Goulston & Storrs, David Rabinowitz has joined the firm's New York office as a director in the real estate group. Rabinowitz was most recently at Sutherland where he was a partner in the New York office, served as co-chair of the retail practice and led Sutherland's northeast real estate team. Rabinowitz is the most recent partner to join G&S from an AmLaw 100 firm.

Rabinowitz has extensive experience in the area of retail law, including the sale, acquisition, disposition, leasing and development of condominium developments, retail and mixed-use properties. His retail clients include some of the nation's largest "big box" retailers and shopping center developers.

Rabinowitz holds a JD from Washington College of Law, American University, and a BA, with distinction, from Rutgers University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Henry Rutgers Scholar.
He has been recognized as a leading business lawyer in real estate law by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America.
Rabinowitz is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers; the International Council of Shopping Centers (including the U.S. Law Conference Program Committee); the Association of the Bar of the City of New York; the Real Estate Board of New York and ULI. He is also a member of the New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC Bar Associations.
