The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) and Gordon Companies recently celebrated the completion of The Seasons of Mohawk Pointe, a new condominium complex featuring 37 newly constructed residences. Mayor John McDonald III joined with Christopher Betts, regional director of CPC's Albany office, and project developers Jeff and David Gordon of Gordon Companies for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the new development. Located on 101 Avalon Place between Manor Ave. and North Reservoir St., The Seasons of Mohawk Pointe features 37 condominium residences in six buildings. The new complex is comprised of six one-level units, 17 two-story units and 14 three-story units. CPC, a not-for-profit mortgage lender, provided Gordon Companies with a $5.41 million construction loan for the project. Developers Jeff and David Gordon, who have each been in the real estate business for more than 13 years, have developed several residential and retail projects in the area including The Seasons of North Greenbush, a 47-unit condominium development in the town of North Greenbush. Gordon Companies was also the general contractor for the project. "CPC is pleased to provide the construction financing for this attractive and well designed condominium complex that is bringing quality housing to the city of Cohoes. Jeff and David Gordon are to be commended for the outstanding job they have done in developing The Seasons of Mohawk Pointe," said Betts of CPC. "Working in partnership with CPC, we are pleased to have completed this high-quality, affordably priced luxury condominium community. The Seasons at Mohawk Pointe will add to the vitality of Cohoes, which is a popular location for multi-family housing in the region," said Jeff Gordon.
