The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive VP of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing, Marketing and Sales Division, has secured a new location for Ristorante DeGrezia at 805 Third Ave., with the entrance at 208 East 50th St. The establishment, which caters to corporate crowds from the surrounding business district, as well as residents of nearby Beekman and Sutton Pls., is literally moving across the street from its present location. The current space, formerly occupied by Ashton's Pub, consists of two levels comprising 1,700 s/f at ground level, including 30 ft. of frontage, plus 500 s/f on the concourse level that is part of the building's famous food court. The duplex space is one of the team's four exclusive spaces at 805 Third Ave. and part of an exclusive portfolio of retail spaces in six of Cohen Brothers Realty Corp.'s class A properties. "Ristorante DeGrezia is an institution in this neighborhood," said Consolo. "Their new home is in one of the most prestigious buildings in the area and they'll be up and running in no time, welcoming old and new friends." "This is the perfect match between location and need," said Aquino. "DeGrezia's new site only requires basic upgrades and cosmetic renovations in keeping with its well-established ambiance. The restaurant and its customers will lose minimal time and gain a super new space." Neighboring retailers include bebe, Caché and Smith & Wollensky. The area is also a popular location among tourists with several major hotels nearby including The Waldorf-Astoria, W Hotel and Radisson Lexington Hotel. Representing the tenant was Valensi Realty.
