Moony of Marcus & Millichap Capital arranges $600,000 fixed rate loan

Marcus & Millichap Capital Cor. (MMCC) has recently arranged a $600,000 fixed-rate loan to refinance a mixed-use building on 425th St. in the Park Slope neighborhood. Sean Moony, the associate director of the firm's local office arranged the financing package. "The borrower brought the deal to numerous other brokers in the community, we were able to get them substantially better terms, and close quickly which was important because the borrower was in contract to close on another property," said Moony. Financing for this transaction was provided a 6.25% fixed rate. Terms of the loan are for 30 years with a 5-year option and the loan-to-value was 75%. In a second transaction, Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services closed on the sale of Charleston's, a 6,965 s/f single-tenant property located in Omaha, according to Edward Jordan, regional manager of the firm's Manhattan office. The sales price was $3.6 million. Glen Kunofsky, senior vice president investments and a senior director of the firm's National Retail Group and Net Leased Properties Group in Manhattan, represented the seller, a REIT, and the buyer, a limited liability company. Daniel Goaley, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap's Omaha office, also provided representation. "This sale represents that there is still solid demand from investors to buy quality Net-Leased real estate with good fundamentals," said Kunofsky Charleston's is located at 13851 FNB Parkway in Omaha and is situated on 1.52 acres of land.
