Ceppos of CBRE appointed to office of treasurer for BOMA Westchester County

Ian Ceppos, associate, of CB Richard Ellis' Stamford office has been appointed to the office of treasurer on the board of directors of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Westchester. As treasurer, he will be heading the finance committee and will audit association accounts, advising on the formulation of the yearly association budget, assessing dues and financial matters while developing plans for the long-range growth of the association. In addition, he will serve as a voting member on the board of directors. BOMA is a source of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments. BOMA members are building owners, managers, developers, leasing professionals, medical office building managers, corporate facility managers, asset managers, and the providers of the products and services needed to operate commercial properties. Collectively, BOMA members own or manage more than 9 billion s/f of office space, which represents more than 80% of the prime office space in North America. BOMA International was founded in 1907 as the National Association of Building Owners and Managers. The association assumed its present name in 1968 as it broadened its reach to include Canada and other affiliates around the globe.
