Slavin of H2M elected sec./treas. of NYAAEL

According to H2M Labs, Inc., Joann Slavin, senior VP and laboratory manager of the firm, has been elected as the secretary/treasurer of the N.Y. Association of Approved Environmental Laboratories (NYAAEL).
Slavin received both an M.S. and B.S. degree in Toxicology from St. John's University, and is currently a member and board director of NYAAEL.
Slavin started with H2M in 1980 as a chemist.
Founded in 1979, NYAAEL is a non-profit association of NYS Dept. of Health approved environmental laboratories and related industry representatives. NYAAEL has many activities and services that benefit both members and the environmental community. The New York Association of Approved Environmental Laboratories (NYAAEL) is a non-profit organization of the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) approved laboratories and related industry representatives which takes a leadership role in promoting the advancement of environmental laboratories.
