Nixon Peabody hires six new associates

Law firm Nixon Peabody LLP has added six associates in the firm's area office. These attorneys are among the more than 30 new associates across the firm. The new attorneys are: * Ashley Baker, as a member of the firm's real estate practice. She focuses on advising clients about real estate matters including acquisitions, development, and financing. She is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University, J.D., cum laude and Niagara University, Political Science, B.A., magna cum laude. * Michael Crosnicker is a member of the litigation department and has experience in corporate, bankruptcy and restructuring, and commercial law. He is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, J.D., magna cum laude and James Madison University, Marketing, B.A.; Communication Studies, B.S. * Paul Dimoh is a member of the mergers & acquisitions (M&A) department. He is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, J.D. and Syracuse University School of Information Studies and Martin J. Whitman School of Management, B.S., cum laude. * Steve Mindy is a member of the labor & employment department. He is a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo Law School, J.D. magna cum laude and Nazareth College of Rochester, B.A. magna cum laude. * Megan Thisse is a member of the intellectual property department. She is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University, J.D., magna cum laude and McGill University, B.S. * Janelle Whitaker is a member of the public finance group whose experience includes working with bond counsel and underwriters counsel in connection with taxable and tax-exempt bond financings. She also has provided assistance in connection with industrial development agency sale-leaseback transactions. She is a graduate of University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, J.D. and Lincoln University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, B.S., cum laude.
