According to the Building Owners and Managers Association of Westchester (BOMA), Fordham University and Reckson, a division of SL Green, will be the honorees at the chapter's Annual Hall of Honor Awards Dinner to be held April 30 at Tappan Hill. The honorees will be recognized for their contributions to Westchester's economy.
Fordham University recently opened its new Westchester campus in Harrison. The three-story, 62,500 s/f building is set on 32 landscaped acres at 400 Westchester Ave.
Reckson owns and manages office buildings in Rye Brook, White Plains, Valhalla and Tarrytown. Among their properties are 360 Hamilton in White Plains, The Summit in Valhalla and the Reckson Executive Park in Rye Brook.
The dinner will also feature the winners of the Best of BOMA Westchester County Signature Awards. The five categories include: Comeback Building of the Year, Best Green Initiative, Best Community Impact, Best Suburban Business Park Setting and Best Central Business District Building and Lobby Amenities.
Past recipients of the Hall of Honor Awards have included some of the area's leading corporations and real estate development companies including Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Heineken USA, RPW Group, MBIA, Cappelli Enterprises, Fuji Photo Film USA, Morgan Stanley, The Trump Organization, New York Life Insurance Company, IBM, The Ritz-Carlton Company, Eastridge Properties and Robert Martin Company.
