Long Island Business Development Council presents Small Business of the Year award to Thomas Automotive and Sentinel Printing Co.

504 borrowers, Thomas Automotive and Sentinel Printing Company won the coveted Small Business of the Year Award for Nassau and Suffolk Counties, from the Long Island Business Development Council. Since 1969, LIBDC has been Long Island's premier business/economic development networking group, and seeks to attract, enhance and grow the economy of Long Island, New York. Thomas Automotive originally came to LIDC and was approved for a 504 loan in 1995, and returned again in 2003 when they decided to expand using a 504 loan from LIDC to purchase nearby land and buildings. Accepting the Small Business Award is president, Thomas Mammolito. LIDC provided the first 503 loan in 1985 to Sentinel Printing, a 145 year old, family owned business.Glen Boehmer, president and third generation owner, proudly accepted the Small Business Award. Awards were presented by Steve Goad, vice president lending LIDC/GNYDC.
