Malgieri joins Harris Beach as a partner

According to Harris Beach PLLC, Patrick Malgieri has joined the law firm as a partner in the public finance & economic development and commercial real estate practice groups and the financial institutions & capital markets team.
Since 1983, he has been engaged in public finance as bond counsel, underwriter's and private placement agent's counsel, letter of credit issuer's counsel, trustee's counsel and special transaction counsel.
He has been listed in the "The Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace" (commonly known as the "Red Book") of nationally-recognized bond counsel for over 20 years. He has a strong background in New York municipal law, serving as counsel and special counsel to several localities and authorities. He has experience with infrastructure projects involving water and sewer system improvements.
His practice also involves commercial real estate and real estate finance, representing real estate developers, investors and commercial lending institutions. He has also represented a number of lending institutions and borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured commercial loans.
He is a member of the NYS and Monroe County Bar Associations, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the NYS Government Finance Officers' Association. He serves on the board of directors for the Urban League of Greater Rochester, the Urban League of Greater Rochester Economic Development Corp., and Corn Hill Navigation. He is VP of the Rochester Historical Society and a member of the advisory board and past president of the Center for Youth Services.
He holds a JD from Cornell University and BA, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the College of the Holy Cross.
