Meyer joins ENB as Port Jefferson Station branch manager and vice president

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY Edy Meyer has joined Empire National Bank as Port Jefferson Station branch manager and vice president. Douglas Manditch, the chairman and chief executive officer of the Islandia-based full service commercial bank, made the announcement.
"We look forward to providing a 'neighborhood' banking experience at Empire's Port Jefferson Station branch. Customers will benefit from Empire National Bank's commitment to providing superior personal service and my strong ties in the area," said Meyer.
Prior to joining Empire National, Meyer had a career at North Fork Bank, holding the title of vice president/Port Jefferson Station branch manager. Active in many area organizations, Meyer is a member of the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, serves as the treasurer of the Comsewogue Youth Club and has also devoted her time to Mather and St. Charles Hospitals. She conducts banking seminars in the Comsewogue School District. Through the district's Mentoring Partnership, she works with students who are interested in banking careers. Named Woman of the Year in Business by the Town of Brookhaven, she had the distinction of also being honored there as Woman of the Year for Volunteer Work.
