L.I. real estate veteran Rochlin forms new firm

Adam Rochlin, an accomplished Long Island estate professional, has established his own real estate firm, The Rochlin Organization LLC, which specializes in landlord representation. "I am excited by the opportunities that these challenging times present," said Rochlin, who for more than 20 years has represented commercial real estate owners and class A office buildings, Rochlin's first agency assignment is Jericho Plaza, a 640,000 s/f, two-building class A office complex owned jointly by New Jersey-based Onyx Equities and New York City-based S.L. Green Realty Corp. Most recently vice president of asset management for Onyx, handling properties in the tri-state market, Rochlin previously was an executive vice president of White Plains-based GHP Office Realty. Prior to that, Rochlin had a successful 18-year career with Cushman & Wakefield, CB Richard Ellis, and KOLL. During his career, Rochlin has represented some of the top buildings on Long Island, including EAB Plaza in Uniondale, 90 Merrick Ave. in East Meadow, 1600 Stewart Ave. in Westbury, The Woodlands Office Park in Hauppauge, the Ellipse in Garden City, Century Plaza in Mineola, 35 Pinelawn Rd. in Melville, Crossroads Corporate Center in Hauppauge, Plaza 57 South in Hauppauge, among others. Among the owners Rochlin has represented are The Moinian Group/C&K Properties, Lighthouse Real Estate Venture, Metropolitan Realty Associates, Oak Tree Capital Advisors, The New England Mutual Life Insurance Company, Boylston Capital Advisors, New York Life Insurance Co., Crossland Federal Savings, CIGNA, Verizon Wireless and others. A native of Syosset, Rochlin now lives in Melville with his wife, Hilary, and their three children. Rochlin attended the State University of New York College at Brockport, where he majored in computer science and minored in mathematics. Rochlin is a Long Island board member of the March of Dimes, and founding member of The March of Dimes Real Estate Awards Dinner, an event that raises significant funds to help with the March of Dimes mission of "saving babies".
