January 27, 2009 - Long Island
Eun Jo, a 2008 graduate of St. John's University School of Law, was recently named an associate in the litigation practice group at Capell Vishnick LLP, according to managing partner Joseph Milizio.
Jo was recently admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York states. She joined Capell Vishnick in 2007 as a law clerk. "In the course of a year, EJ has shown great promise. She is a quick study who has already made significant contributions to the firm," said Milizio.
Prior to joining Capell Vishnick, Jo served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Joseph Bianco of the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Patricia Satterfield of the Queens County Supreme Court. While at St. John's, she served as the managing editor of the New York International Law Review, a publication of the International Law and Practice Section of the New York State Bar Association. She received the Excellence for the Future CALI Award for Business Organizations in fall 2006 for achieving the highest grade in her class.
Jo spoke at the 2007 Color of Justice, a program of the National Association of Women Judges. She earned a bachelor of arts from Boston College in 2005.
