Greater N.Y. Councils names Consolo "Woman of Achievement"

Real Estate luminary Faith Hope Consolo, chairman of Prudential Douglas Elliman's retail leasing and sales division, has been named a "Woman of Achievement" by the Greater New York Councils Exploring Program, for her outstanding record of leadership and public service.
A state-sponsored organization that promotes career awareness among high school students, the Exploring Program annually honors women who have raised the standard for community involvement within their industries.
"Receiving this award is very exciting, as I have admired the efforts of the Exploring Program in educating high school students about various careers," said Consolo. "Of course, I have found real estate to be a highly rewarding field, and will continue to encourage high school students to consider it."
Consolo will accept her award at a cocktail reception on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Union League Club, 38 East 37th St. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Exploring Program and their efforts to bring high school students into business offices to gain greater insight into future career possibilities.
Consolo is one of the most renowned retail brokers in the country and has received numerous honors and awards throughout her amazing career and is continually positioned at the top of Prudential Douglas Elliman's rankings for her high commercial deal volume.
As a lecturer at various business and design schools, including New York University, Wharton, and Parsons School of Design, and contributor to a number of national and international forums, Consolo brings a breadth of experience to the conference. She has completed hundreds of deals totaling multi- millions of dollars for some of the most recognized names in retail - nationally and internationally.
