Austin joins Nelson + Pope as new senior associate
Melville, NY Adon Austin, PE, has joined Nelson + Pope (N+P) as a senior associate. Austin brings nearly 30 years of experience in waterfront and coastal engineering, with expertise in the inspection, assessment, design, and rehabilitation of marine infrastructure.
A Professional Engineer licensed in New York and Illinois and an ADCI-certified commercial diver, his experience includes bulkheads, seawalls, piers, docks, marinas, shoreline protection systems, and other waterfront facilities.
Austin brings extensive experience managing complex marine and coastal infrastructure assignments for public and private-sector clients. His work spans Long Island and the greater New York metropolitan area, with projects for local municipalities, New York City agencies, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, Brooklyn Navy Yard, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
