What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?
The greatest leadership lesson I’ve learned is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to leading people. Every individual brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals, and understanding those differences is essential to helping them succeed. I’ve found that listening first, adapting my approach when needed, and leading by example builds trust, strengthens teams, and creates better outcomes. Those principles have shaped my career and continue to influence how I mentor colleagues, collaborate with clients, and lead every day with empathy, purpose, accountability, and integrity.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
My advice is to never underestimate the value of your voice or wait for someone else to recognize your potential. Be curious and ask thoughtful questions. Seek out mentors who will both challenge and support you throughout your career. Build your reputation through hard work, integrity, and reliability, because those qualities will create opportunities long after titles or accolades fade. Most importantly, when you’re in a position to help others, make mentorship a priority, pay those opportunities forward, and never stop investing in the success of those who follow you throughout your career.
