What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?
The biggest leadership lesson I’ve learned is that people don’t care how much you know until they know you genuinely care. I’ve learned that listening, being honest, and showing up consistently builds trust far better than trying to have all the answers. This mindset has shaped the way I run my business, work with clients, and build lasting relationships.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
My advice is to never underestimate the value of your voice. You don’t have to know everything on day one, but you do need to be willing to learn, ask questions, and speak up. Build relationships, find mentors who believe in you, and don’t be afraid to take a seat at the table. Confidence comes with experience, but courage comes from taking that first step. Your ideas are valuable- share them.
What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?
The most rewarding deal I worked on this past year was helping a client purchase their first multifamily investment property. It wasn’t the easiest transaction, and there were moments when we weren’t sure it would make it to the closing table. Seeing their excitement when we finally closed reminded me why I love what I do. Helping people take a big step toward building their future and creating lasting opportunities.
