What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?

My advice to the next generation of women would be to believe in yourself, work hard, ask questions and never be afraid to have a voice. Learn from the people around you, build strong relationships and embrace new tools like AI that can help you grow and succeed. Most importantly, stay true to who you are. You can be strong and successful while still being kind. Trust your instincts, support other women along the way and remember that you absolutely belong at the table.

What trend or change in commercial real estate do you believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years?

I believe one of the biggest changes in commercial real estate over the next five years will be the growing role of technology, particularly AI. I’ve been in this business long enough to see how much it has changed and I think we’re entering another major period of transformation. Technology will help us work smarter, save time and make better informed decisions, but real estate will always be about people. The key will be finding the right balance, embracing new technology while maintaining the relationships, trust, communication and personal connection that are so important to this business.
