Dan Peraro

Bohemia, NY Dan Peveraro, PE, has joined P.W. Grosser Consulting Engineer & Hydrogeologist, D.P.C. (PWGC) as director of land development engineering. His arrival marks a deliberate expansion of PWGC’s civil site capabilities and a direct investment in serving the development and commercial real estate community across Long Island and New York State.

If you are a developer, builder, or commercial real estate professional with a project that needs to move, Peveraro and PWGC is the call to make.

Who Is Dan Peveraro?
Peveraro is a New York State licensed Professional Engineer with nearly 25 years of experience in civil site engineering, land development, and municipal approvals. A Villanova University civil and environmental engineering graduate, his career spans three regional firms: Bohler Engineering (2005–2012), DSP Engineering (2012–2020), and Key Civil Engineering (2020–2026), advancing from hands-on design work to directing multidisciplinary teams and managing complex project portfolios.

His technical expertise covers the full civil site scope: conceptual site layouts, grading and drainage design, utility coordination, sanitary sewer system design, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), and permit application management from first submission through final approval.

Ross School, Center for Well Being - East Hampton, N.Y.

The Hills - East Quogue, N.Y.

What sets Peveraro apart is his regulatory fluency. He has the experience and the confidence representing clients before planning boards, zoning boards, town and village boards, and historic councils across the region. He is known for engaging municipal decision-makers early, at the conceptual stage, to build the consensus that moves difficult projects forward, working with entities such as the town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County DPW, SCDHS, the Central Pine Barrens Commission, NYSDEC, NYSDOT, NYCDOB, NYCDEP, and NYCDOT.

His project record reflects that approach:

Brookhaven Logistics Center, Yaphank (2024): Civil and site design for a 71-acre, three-building industrial campus totaling 550,000 s/f, including all municipal and agency approvals.

Medford Logistics Center, Medford (2023): Civil and site design for a 129,000 s/f industrial building on a 10-acre site, including sewer connection and stormwater approvals.

Residential Subdivision, Ridge (2026): Final lot design, sanitary systems, and individual lot approvals for a 50-lot subdivision.

ShopRite Supermarkets, Hudson Valley (2013–2020): Engineer of record for civil and site improvements across more than 20 locations.

Long Wharf - Sag Harbor, N.Y.

The Shipyard at Port Jeff - Port Jefferson, N.Y.
