Who Is Dan Peveraro?
Peveraro is a New York State licensed Professional Engineer with nearly 25 years of experience in civil site engineering, land development, and municipal approvals. A Villanova University civil and environmental engineering graduate, his career spans three regional firms: Bohler Engineering (2005–2012), DSP Engineering (2012–2020), and Key Civil Engineering (2020–2026), advancing from hands-on design work to directing multidisciplinary teams and managing complex project portfolios.
His technical expertise covers the full civil site scope: conceptual site layouts, grading and drainage design, utility coordination, sanitary sewer system design, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), and permit application management from first submission through final approval.
What sets Peveraro apart is his regulatory fluency. He has the experience and the confidence representing clients before planning boards, zoning boards, town and village boards, and historic councils across the region. He is known for engaging municipal decision-makers early, at the conceptual stage, to build the consensus that moves difficult projects forward, working with entities such as the town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County DPW, SCDHS, the Central Pine Barrens Commission, NYSDEC, NYSDOT, NYCDOB, NYCDEP, and NYCDOT.
