TF Cornerstone signs Solerum restaurant to 20-year lease at 2 Gold St.

Manhattan, NY New York City real estate development firm TF Cornerstone (TFC) has arranged a new lease signing with Solerum, an elevated Hawaiian-Caribbean-Asian fusion restaurant, at the base of luxury rental apartment building 2 Gold St. in the Financial District. Solerum signed a 20-year, 4,744 s/f lease at the base of the 53-story building, bringing a new dining destination to the neighborhood.
“As the Financial District continues to evolve into one of New York City’s most dynamic mixed-use neighborhoods, we’re committed to curating a retail experience that enhances the everyday lives of our residents, while serving the broader community,” said Steve Gonzalez, vice president of retail leasing at TFC. “Solerum’s distinctive concept and hospitality-driven dining experience make it an excellent addition to the neighborhood.”
Solerum is a new restaurant from Eoin Foyle and Darren Shore, whose portfolio includes Allswell in Sarasota, Florida and New York City restaurants Mezcali and The Malt House — both of which have locations a short walk from 2 Gold St. Solerum will transform space into a dining destination inspired by the culinary traditions of Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Asia. The restaurant will build on the restaurateurs’ track record of creating neighborhood favorites, offering guests a hospitality-driven experience that blends globally inspired cuisine with an inviting atmosphere in the Financial District.
Solerum was represented by Manu Wendum and John DiGangu of Mona Retail Holdings. TFC was represented by Steve Baker, Daniyel Cohen, and Tom Galo of RTL Partners.
“The opening of Solerum at 2 Gold Street represents our continued investment in New York City and the Financial District, a neighborhood that has played an important role in the growth of our restaurant business,” said Eoin Foyle, Solerum owner. “We’re proud to build on that foundation with a new concept that reflects our passion for exceptional hospitality and distinctive cuisine.”
2 Gold St. is a fully amenitized building offering studio to three-bedroom apartments. Its collection of lifestyle amenities include a glass-enclosed heated lap pool, fitness center and yoga room, co-working spaces, landscaped outdoor areas, and resident lounges. Built in 2003, the property offers 650 rental residences.
Solerum joins the property’s other retail offerings including Bond Vet, further enhancing the everyday experience for residents while contributing to the neighborhood’s evolving mix of dining and retail destinations.
